Studio Policies

Studio Etiquette

  • Our classes are located at 810 Gerard Avenue. When you arrive, please press the white buzzer once. A staff member will come to open the door for you.

  • Once in the studio room, please remove your shoes except for dance classes (i.e. Reggaeton and Zumba). You’re welcome to bring indoor shoes, slippers, show off your cutest socks or walk barefoot.

  • We don’t have lockers. You can place your belongings inside the room which are within eyesight. We are not responsible for your items.

  • Please turn your phone off or place it on silent during class time.

 

 

Check-In Policy

  • Sign in starts 15 minutes before class, and the doors close 10 minutes after class starts. Due to limited staff, we can’t accommodate late customers.

  • Please use the online schedule or Momence app to register (iTunes and Google Play). Drop-ins are welcome.

  • Folks who are ages 13+ can take any dance, yoga, and boot camp class.

  • Teens ages 13-17 are eligible for the Preferred Pricing Discount. See here.


 

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Weekly In-Studio & Virtual Classes

Single Class, Class Cards, Unlimited Memberships

  • If you’re registered for a class and need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 12 hours before class starts. Otherwise, that is a late cancellation.

  • For clients registering with a Single Class credit or Class Card, late canceling or no-showing will incur a loss of credit. The credit will not be returned to your account.

  • For clients registering with an Unlimited Membership, late canceling or no-showing to a class will incur a $10.00 penalty charged to the card on file.

Workshops

  • If you’re registered for a Workshop and need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours before class starts. Otherwise, this is a late cancellation and will result in a loss of credit.

 

Waitlist Policy: Classes & Workshops

  • If you put your name on the waitlist and a stop opens up 12 hours before start time, you’ll receive an email/or text. Please make sure your contact information is updated. We find that text messaging is the best way to receive these updates quickly.

  • If you can no longer attend class, make sure to cancel before the 12 hour mark. We assume that if you’re on the waitlist 12 hours before class starts and get into the class, we assume you’re coming. Early Cancellation and no-show fees apply.

  • If class is full and you didn’t make it into the session, you’re welcome to swing by any way since any unclaimed spots will be given away when class begins.

 

Refund Policy

  • ALL sales are final. We don’t issue refunds for Single Classes, Class Cards, Unlimited Memberships, Workshops, Events, Apparel, or Merchandise.

  • No Refunds on any Services, Merchandise or Events unless specifically noted, in writing, on or in describing the service, merchandise or event. 

  • Store Credit is granted at SWDY's discretion, and should not be assumed.


Terms & Conditions

Single Classes & Class Cards

  • All class cards and memberships must be used within SIX MONTHS from the date of purchase.

  • We are unable to extend expiration dates other than for system error.

Unlimited Memberships

1- Month Unlimited - No Commitment

  • Includes all in-person and virtual weekly classes but not events, workshops, or ceremonies.

  • This membership activates when you register for your first class. From this date, you have one month to take as many classes as you’d like during that time. Any time that’s not used is lost.

  • Once an Unlimited is activated, its expiration can’t be extended unless due to medical concerns. Please submit a doctor’s note to info@sweetwaterdanceandyoga.com, if you’d like to apply for an extension.

  • We don’t offer the option to freeze or un-freeze this Unlimited at this time. If you’d like maximum flexibility with your membership, Class Cards are a better option.

Monthly Unlimited - Auto-Renewal with 3 Renewal Commitment

  • This membership is a contract. It requires that you commit to 3-renewals once you sign the contract. You may cancel your membership after you’ve completed 3 renewals.

  • Your card or direct debit information will be charged on the same day each month for a minimum of three months.

  • Each month will activate immediately upon purchase and will expire ONE MONTH after date of purchase.

  • Months do not roll over. Whatever time you don’t use, you lose.

  • You have ONE free freeze up to 30 days included in the auto-renewal contract.

  • No-Show and Late Cancellation fees do apply. Please see policies above.

 

Other Policies

  • We accept cash and debit/credit card at this time. We don’t accept Apply Pay, Google Pay, Zelle, Cash App, or PayPal.

  • Sweet Water is not responsible for any items left at the studio. If you bring a yoga mat with you, please take it with you. If you leave it, please reach out to us to schedule a time to pick it up. Due to space limitations, we’re unable to hold onto your belongings passed 48 hours.

  • Child Policy

    • If a child comes with you to the studio, they must be at least 10 years old to be left in the room during class.

    • Minors must be at least 13 years old to take class.

    • Minors under 15 must take class with a parent or guardian.
