One of the most powerful medicines is movement. Sweet Water low-impact, fun, and engaging classes will help move, groove, heal, and thrive in and outside of class. We provide affordable empowering, and accessible wellness that strengthens your mind, body, and spirit. With a trauma-informed approach, we provide a safe, welcoming and judgment-free space where you can live authentically.
Movement for Recovery & Pain Relief
Our low-impact classes are designed to support those recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or healing from injuries. Regular movement can help ease knee, hip, and lower back discomfort, improve mobility, and restore balance to your body.

Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned mover, our open-level classes are built for every body. With plenty of modifications, assists, and adjustments, you can move at your own pace while feeling safe, strong, and supported. What to Expect
It’s normal to feel a bit nervous or scared when starting a new journey. We’re here to make fitness fun, empowering, and safe. We will never guilt or shame into an exercise — this is the not the place we yell at folks to keep going. If you need a break take it — no matter your fitness level.
For your best experience, we recommend you download our mobile app, create an account, and purchase the intro special. Commit by signing up for your first class. We offer dynamic classes including Egyptian Belly Dance, Vinyasa Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Mat Pilates, Flexibility Conditioning, and more. Experiment with all of them and find what excites you!

Yes! You can take as many in-studio classes as you’d like during 14 days. Come one, come five times.

Use it to explore yoga, dance, and fitness classes so you can feel what works best in your body. It doesn’t apply to workshops or special events.

Your 14 days begin on the date of purchase.

Yes, please book ahead so we can save your spot. Please note our 12-hour late-cancellation and no-show policy. You will be charged a $10 fee if you late cancel or no-show.

No - the Intro Special - and all our memberships and packages - are non-transferrable.

You can choose the option that fits your routine best: drop-ins, class credits, or a monthly membership.

Class closes 10 minutes after start time. As much as possible, please try to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before your class. This will ensure you receive the warm-up and will optimize your safety. Arriving late to class will activate no-show penalty.

If you have to reschedule or cancel your registration, please do so at least 12-hour before class start time. Failure to do so will result in a loss of credit (for drop-ins and Class Cards) OR a $10.00 penalty fee (for Unlimited Memberships). Intro specials are subject for late cancellation and no-show penalty.

Just yourself! We provide yoga mats and props for class. You can buy water and snacks at the front desk. You are welcome, however, to bring your own yoga mat and water bottle for class. Please note that we don’t offer mat storage.

Comfortable, breathing clothing. Anything you’d wear to the gym that allows you to move freely works.

Our classes are open-level and suitable for beginners. Our instructors will offer many opportunities to modify a posture or exercise so you can intensify or soften a pose. We meet you were you are.

Anywhere! Because our classes are open-level, we teach to who is in the room. Classes are perfect for beginners and for advance movers. Classes will incorporate warm-up, cool-downs, modifications, assists, and breaks.

Yes, you can find street parking, parking by the courts, or in nearby garages. During Yankee season, please add extra travel time to account for traffic and road blockages. We encourage use of the train, bus, and metro north, if possible.

Yes! We’re located inside 811 Walton Tenants Corporation. To get into the Studio, look for the 810 Gerard Avenue entrance. Look for the black door with “810” at the top and ring the white buzzer. We’ll come to greet you.

We only offer morning classes on Saturdays starting at 10:00 AM. Weekday classes start at 6:00 PM and 7:10 PM. We don’t offer anything as early as 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM.

Not at this time. Our yoga classes are done at room temperature.
